What is cold brew coffee?

Cold brew coffee is a great way to enjoy freshly ground coffee with a cool and refreshing drink. If hot cuppas aren't your thing or you prefer a cooler drink on a warmer day then cold brew coffee is for you!

Our cold brew coffee recipe is a great way to enjoy Ground Mushroom Coffee on ice, minus the added sugars and syrups you often find in coffee house iced lattes.

You can make it the night before, so that it's ready to grab and take with you on-the-go the following morning. Or keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks for cold brew coffee on tap!

To make your cold brew coffee you simply need Ground Mushroom Coffee, cold water and patience! Mix your ground coffee and water before covering and placing in the fridge overnight (add patience here!). Filter in the morning and voilà - cold brew coffee!

You can make your cold brew coffee in a good old jug and then strain using a tea strainer or coffee filter, and you can even buy fancy cold brew coffee containers which have an in-built filter - perfect for coffee connoisseurs 👌

  1. In a small jug, mix together the water and Ground Mushroom Coffee
  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for a minimum of 12 hours)
  3. Pour the cold brew coffee through a tea strainer or coffee filter and into a tall glass, this will remove the coffee grounds
  4. Enjoy immediately - adding a few ice cubes and some plant-based milk if desired!
