We use frozen bananas and mangoes to create a gorgeously golden smoothie bowl which is naturally sweet and bursting with brightness.
Yellow and orange foods are a rich source of antioxidants, most notably carotenoids which are great for the immune system and are used to synthesise Vitamin A in the body.
We add a spoonful of ground turmeric too, which contains a compound called curcumin - an amazing nutrient known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

GOLDEN SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE WITH GREEN PLANT PROTEIN
HEALTHY, VEGAN, GLUTEN-FREE & DAIRY-FREE
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 frozen bananas
- 150g frozen mangoes
- 1 tablespoon Green Plant Protein
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
- Splash of oat milk
Toppings
- Banana slices
- Kiwi slices
- Handful granola
METHOD:
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy
- Top with fruit and granola, then enjoy!
