Rheal Superfoods Ltd is committed to ethical business practices and has a zero‑tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. This statement outlines the steps taken to prevent modern slavery within our operations and supply chain, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Accountability for these ethical commitments remains with the Board of Directors and senior leadership, who evaluate our ongoing advancements as a component of our B Corp
Organisation Structure and Supply Chains
Rheal Superfoods Ltd produces natural products that are simple, effective nutrition that support customer health goals

Operations: Manufacturing and Distributions are conducted at our UK facility in Sunderland.

Sales Channels: Primarily direct‑to‑consumer online, with selected third‑party retail partners.

Supply Network: Our ingredients are obtained from small-scale, sustainable farms worldwide either direct or through approved Distributors. We also work with UK‑based third‑party manufacturers, logistics providers, and professional service partners.
Our supply chain includes both direct suppliers (ingredient producers) and indirect suppliers (logistics, packaging, marketing, and advisory services).
Policies in Relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking
Rheal Superfoods Ltd provides all employees with a safe, fair and ethical work environment which protects their human rights and prioritises integrity and transparency.
We have the following measures in place to support policies in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking.

Our greatest risk lies within our global ingredient supply chain. To mitigate this, we apply rigorous supplier approval processes:

Since 2022, all new suppliers must sign the Rheal Supplier Code of Conduct, outlining our expectations on human rights and environmental protection.

Key Performance Indicators to Ensure Effectiveness of Processes
Our suppliers now provide us with their modern slavery statements and this is now part of our supplier onboarding process
For our key Suppliers, we conduct comprehensive human rights risk assessments to ensure that every procurement decision actively evaluates both the actual and potential human‑rights impacts tied to our suppliers, materials, and sourcing locations. This process is a fundamental element of our responsible‑sourcing framework, supporting our commitment to the Responsible Sourcing Policy and maintaining our B Corp standards.
Training on Modern Slavery and Trafficking
All employees discuss modern slavery risks and the importance of these as part of their induction training.
Employees involved in procurement activities receive additional ethical sourcing training, to ensure a deeper understanding of modern slavery and that Rheal’s compliance with the Act is achieved.

Our Products
Are your products Organic?
The ingredients in most of our products are 100% certified organic.
Aquamin® is not yet certified organic, so our products containing this ingredient are not quite 100% organic – for the moment.
Some of the ingredients in our shots are also extremely hard to source organic.
If we have an opportunity to make everything 100% organic in the future, we will!
Are your products Vegan friendly?
Yes. All of our products and ingredients are free from dairy and animal products, so are 100% vegan friendly.
Are your products Gluten-Free?
All of our ingredients and products are gluten-free and prepared in a gluten-free environment.
Our Wheatgrass & Barley Grass are derived from the grasses of each plant (rather than the grain) and are naturally gluten-free. They have been independently tested to ensure they do not contain any traces of gluten.
Is your packaging recyclable?
As we have a range of different products, the recycling advice will vary based on the packaging for each.
Rheal Superfood Blend Tubes - Our cardboard tubes are plastic free and are 100% recyclable within your usual household recycling.
Rheal Superfood Blend Sachets & Hydration Sachets - The cardboard outer box is 100% recyclable. The individual sachets are not recyclable at the moment, due to the food grade lining inside them - but we are working on a new sachet material that can also be recycled (watch this space!)
Rheal Wellness Shots - Our shot bottles are 100% recyclable, made with glass and an aluminum lid. This can all be recycled along within your usual household recycling.
Rheal Capsule Range - Both the glass jar and the aluminium lid can be recycled alongside your household recycling. You do not need to remove the lid or the labels from the jar, as they are separated during the glass recycling process.
Box Packaging - All of the inner and outer box packaging for our products is 100% recyclable within your usual household recycling.
Please note that dry mixed recyclable waste may not be available in some areas depending on Local Authority regulations. Please contact our team at support@rhealsuperfoods.com for further guidance.
Are your products non-GMO?
Yes, all of our ingredients and products are non-GMO certified.
Are your products safe to use when trying to conceive and during pregnancy?
Our products contain only clean and natural ingredients that are regularly tested for any contaminants or chemicals (and they pass every time!)
Whilst our products are high-quality and use only the best natural ingredients, we are not medically qualified to advise if a product is suitable during pregnancy and therefore we would always advise that you consult with a medical professional. All of our ingredients can be found listed on each product page, and if you need any other information, please reach out to our team.

Are your Superfoods meal replacements?
Our products are not intended to be used as meal replacements – we would always recommend they are enjoyed alongside a healthy, balanced diet.
Can I have these products if I am on medication or have a medical condition?
Our products are made using 100% natural superfoods and are great for supporting overall health & wellbeing.
However, as we are not medically qualified, we are unable to make recommendations specific to medication interactions or health conditions.

Do your products contain any artificial ingredients or flavourings?
We don't add any artificial flavours, ingredients or fillers to any of our products – just 100% natural real superfoods.

How long will it take to feel the benefits from Superfoods?
We would love to be able to provide a timescale for when to expect noticeable benefits from our products. However, this is heavily dependant on the individual and things such as diet, lifestyle, health, hormones and much more.
The best way to ensure optimal benefits is to take the recommended serving daily, in the long-term.
