5 Simple Recipes to Enjoy your Daily Balance Tonic

Getting the most out of nutrition is all about consistency. So here are 5 simple and easy ways Balance Tonic can slot right into your routine, so that you can enjoy your daily dose of balance in a way which works for you, and your tastebuds.

Balance Tonic Yoghurt Bowl

Balance Tonic makes a great addition to plain yoghurt - adding a beautiful colour and flavour, as well as all of the goodness from the blend itself.

Ingredients:

  • 200g Greek Yoghurt
  • 5g Balance Tonic

This one couldn't be easier. Simply add your Balance Tonic to the yoghurt, stir and enjoy. We'd always recommend using full fat Greek yoghurt, as low-fat alternatives usually contain added sugars - whereas Greek yoghurt is full of good fats and is minimally processed.

You can add your favourite toppings too - we love berries, grapes, granola and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Simply Mixed with Juice

A glass of fresh fruit juice is a great way to start the day, for an instant boost of vitamins, antioxidants, fibre and hydration.

Ingredients:

  • 200ml fresh fruit juice
  • 5g Balance Tonic

Add your chosen fresh fruit juice to a glass, followed by a spoonful of Balance Tonic and stir thoroughly. Balance Tonic works really well with all fruit juice, but we love it with apple, pineapple and orange juice.

Balance Tonic Oats

Oats are a great breakfast - naturally low in sugar, high in fibre and packed with essential minerals.

Ingredients:

  • 50g oats
  • 100-200ml* milk
  • 5g Balance Tonic

Balance Tonic overnight oats

Balance Tonic Overnight Oats: Use just 100ml milk, mix all the ingredients together and place in an airtight container. Refrigerate overnight, ready to enjoy the next morning.

Porridge Recipe: Use 200ml milk, mix with the oats and cook on the hob using a medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Alternatively, you can microwave your oats for 2-3 minutes until thick and creamy. Stir in your Balance Tonic once cooked, to best preserve the nutrients.

You can add a drizzle of maple syrup, a dollop of peanut butter or a handful of fresh fruit to your oats for a more balanced and delicious meal.

Strawberry & Banana Balance Tonic Smoothie

Smoothies were made for adding superfood blends to, including Balance Tonic.

Ingredients:

  • 300g frozen strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 300g Greek yoghurt
  • 120ml milk
  • 5g Balance Tonic

Add all of your ingredients to a blender, blitz until smooth and enjoy. You can mix this recipe up and use whichever fruit you like, aiming to keep to around 400g in total. Fresh and frozen fruit work equally well, but frozen fruit can be more refreshing, convenient and cheaper too.

Warming Balance Tonic Latte

Did you know you can enjoy Balance Tonic as a hot drink too? A warming Balance Tonic latte is the perfect way to relax and unwind on an evening, enjoying calming adaptogens and botanicals with every sip.

Ingredients:

  • 200ml milk
  • 5g Balance Tonic
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

For best results we'd recommend using a milk frother, adding all of your ingredients and frothing until combined. Alternatively, you can warm your milk on the hob or in the microwave, before adding the remaining ingredients and stirring until smooth.

You can also garnish with some hibiscus flowers, cinnamon and an extra sprinkle of Balance Tonic for an indulgent evening treat.
