Our Story
Charlotte had been fit & healthy all her life, until she suddenly began losing weight and suffering with severe fatigue. After many tests, she was eventually diagnosed with Coeliac Disease – an autoimmune condition which can only be managed by following a strict gluten-free diet for life.
A few years later, Charlotte & Sean met at University and Sean began to realise just how much Charlotte’s poor health was really restricting her ability to live a normal life. They both decided to take matters into their own hands and look for more natural ways to help… leading them to superfoods!
After just a few weeks of experimenting with different ingredients, they both felt a huge difference in their energy & digestion.
Inspired to share their story & help more people feel healthier, Rheal was born!

What is Plant Collagen?
Rheal Plant Collagen is a completely plant based collagen alternative, with clinically studied ingredients proven to increase our ability to produce more collagen and hyaluronic acid. Think of it as your daily dose of skin-loving nutrients, with natural superfood ingredients chosen to help you rediscover your natural glow from within. As well as being fantastic for skin health and hydration, it has other benefits too such as helping joint pain or stiffness and strengthening hair and nails.
What does Plant Collagen taste like?
We’d say Plant Collagen is neutral in flavour, with subtle sweetness from Pitaya (otherwise known as Dragon Fruit) & Lucuma.
How do I take Plant Collagen?
However you like, just make sure you're having a serving daily! We always recommend adding to water: use your Rheal whisk, shake in your Rheal bottle or stir with a spoon! Alternatively add to fresh juice, blend into a smoothie or add to overnight oats.
What’s the different between Plant Collagen and other collagens?
Plant Collagen provides your body with the right building blocks in order to produce more collagen. As we age, we start to produce less collagen. Even by our mid-twenties, we lose around 1% of collagen every year, which contributes to the visible signs of ageing.
Our hero ingredient, Astrion®, has been proven in human studies to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and skin hydration. And it has also been clinically proven to increase levels of all three collagen types (I,II,III) with the biggest increase in collagen I, which is the collagen needed to support healthy skin, hair and nails (similarly to animal collagen).
With 5 additional plant-based & organic ingredients: Acerola Cherry, Bamboo Silica, Pink Pitaya, Lucuma & Pea Protein. Giving us over 178% of our daily recommended Vitamin C too in every serving.
