What is a smoothie bowl anyway? 🌈

Smoothie bowls are similar to conventional smoothies, only a little thicker and so more suited to a bowl than a straw! Most smoothie bowls combine plenty of healthy ingredients like fresh and frozen fruit, plant-based milk and yoghurt. Think of it as an extra-thick smoothie that is more of a meal than a drink! 


Do I need to add additional toppings? 🫐

We love to add some tasty toppings to our smoothie bowls for some extra nutrition and texture. They are also a great garnish to make your smoothie bowl picture perfect and ideal for sharing 📸

However, if you prefer a plain smoothie bowl or don't have the suggested toppings in the kitchen already, you can of course make yours without.

  • 2 frozen ripe bananas
  • 50g frozen blueberries
  • 50g frozen mango
  • 100g frozen mixed berries
  • 100-200ml plant-based milk
  • 2 tsp Berry Beauty

Optional Toppings

  • Fresh blueberries
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Granola
  • 1 tbsp. nut butter 
  • Extra Berry Beauty for sprinkling



  1. Add the milk and frozen bananas to your blender and blend until smooth. Frozen ripe bananas are key to a good smoothie bowl texture! 
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients and blend until thick and creamy! If your blender is struggling, add a splash more milk.
  3. Serve with your choice of additional toppings and enjoy! 🍓
